Hellurrrr Hellooo!
I delight in spelling words how I pronounce them… including extra letters and all because I feel that it better expresses how I feel. I am having to watch it these days before some people would be thinking I don’t know English.
Today enh…. has been a weird day. I have been doing a lot of soul searching / self-evaluation lately. Today’s own started from about 2am when I woke up mistakenly… A few minutes ago, during my lunch time, I decided to write on something fun but I am quite mentally exhausted to structure a new post.
Hence – the get to know me tag! *drum rolls*
You guys that would be doing like you aren’t excited I am finally doing this… wehdone! Anyways, this tag is a popular one in the bloggers/vloggers space. I’m just doing mine. I did something similar here though.
These questions are arandom mix from the ones I have seen in other blogs/vlogs. Couldn’t stick to a particular list.
Enough introduction abeg. Let’s get started already.
Ready???
- Are you named after anyone?
No. Not that I know of. - If you were another person, would you be friends with you?
Absolutely. I do think that I may have the challenge of getting to be my friend… but if I’m given the opportunity (yes, being my friend is a privilege), I’d absolutely love it. Contrary to popular opinion, I am very cool somebody. - Are you in any society?
What do you mean by society? Explain please.
Society… like Kanayo O Kanayo kinda society… like cult??? No no… Chukwu e kwela ihe ojo! (God forbid bad thing) - When was the last time you cried?
This morning. I cry a lot. - Who was your first best friend?
Ogunsanya Oluwatosin. Maybe he isn’t the first… maybe I had a childhood bestie. He is the first name I remember 🙂 - Do you love pets?
No!!! We have dogs at home but they know me and we respect each other. They don’t come near me. I do not like pets. I can’t stand them coming close to me. They are fine ooo.. They are God’s creatures ooo… I don’t hate them…. but let everybody respect themselves biko - How many siblings do you have?
Three - Hugs or kisses?
None. We don’t touch where I come from. It’s either a pat at the back or handshake… So everybody should stay on their own biko. I’m learning to hug though… I’d honestly prefer to just smile and maybe shake briefly. - What was your favorite/worst subject in High School?
Math was my favorite. I don’t recall having a worst subject. - Whom you never want to see again?
One guy from my former life. To be honest, no hard feelings but its best if we meet in heaven. - Which physical feature of yours, you like the most?
My eyes. Please, do not stare at me in a funny way the next time you see me. If you do, I’ll know it is because of this! I’ll just know even if you stare stylishly… I’ll catch you. - What is the last thing you do before sleeping?
When I do not sleep off on the phone calling or texting, I talk to God in my heart about my life before I drift away to sleep. Most days, I wake up with the same line of thoughts. - What color of shoes are you wearing at the moment?
I am bare-footed. I don’t like shoes like that. I wore a burgundy colored shoes (the one I spoke about here) to work this morning though. I’d put it back on when I’m ready to go. - If you are not at work/school/home, where else are you likely to be found?
Church - Do you like hanging out?
Yes, if its not too stressful. I don’t like stress in this life - How tall are you?
Sorry onye questionnaire.. this should probably be how short are you? I’m 5’1 - How many countries have you visited?
I have only been to one country asides Nigeria. And I came back the same day. - Are you workaholic?
Sadly, Yes. I am trying to change. - Tell your three priorities in life
God, family, career.
PS: My few close friends are already a part of my family… so yeah. - What’s your biggest fear?
I used to be so scared of the dark. Not anymore. - For whom you can die?
Only Jesus. And whoever Jesus tells me to die for. - Did you ever take a nap while lectures?
I am assuming the fellow who put this down didn’t go to my kind of University.
Well, I did. A lot. Say 2 out of every 5 lectures? Naps were mostly brief. - Who was your first crush?
One very black boy in Primary 2. I cannot believe myself now when I think of it. He was effortlessly smart though, I guess that was the point of attraction. - Hair color?
Black.. Not black black black but black black sha. Late last year, I noticed a white strand somewhere in the front. See what Lagos is doing to me???! - Who do you miss the most?
I miss a lot of people and for different reasons – death, Canada, schooling, distance, Lagos…. But right now, I terribly miss my uncle that passed three years ago. He was such a part of my mid-late teenage years that I saw him as a part of my future. Every now and then, I wish Nna was still here – He just always has the best answers to every question. And oh how he believed in me. He believed in me more than I believed in myself! He’d always say winking… “Ngwa G! (His nickname for me), no be you again?!” and I’d just be pumped for whatever.
I am tempted to cry but I’m smiling instead. I know we would meet again at the Lord’s bosom.
That’s it guys!!! So I did not do any polls from you guys… just did random selection from the internet. So if you have a get-to-know-me question you’d like to ask you can leave them in the comment section… you send them to me privately if you have my contact… if you don’t have my contact – you can whisper it to God to tell me. lol
I’ll do another in a few days time, God willing.
Thank you for reading! Means so much to me… please like, share and comment too. Even if you don’t have a question… you can tell me what you think of this post.
Cheers guys!

I’m also not much of a hugger. I find it awkward and I think people can tell I’m uncomfortable when they hug me. Growing up hugging was never really a thing in Cameroon until I came to SA and all of a sudden every greeting was hug hug hug…I felt invaded 😂😂… Also learning to get used to it now… Phew 😅

Like!!! @all of a sudden o… everyone greets with a hug. Mine was university. I did tell a few people off sef, nicely though…
Cos I really didn’t grow up with it.
Trying to learn it too still.
Thanks again Joan! *Accept my imaginary hug* Start using it to practice 🙂

I hate animals tooooooo. I can’t stand them. I freak out seeing even chicken getting close to me. Staying close to animals gives me goose bumps. They should respect themselves biko.

LOLED at “Kanayo O Kanayo society”😂😂😂
I just started hugging friends recently and it’s still weird although I don’t hug family members.
Nothing is that deep and it would be so weird they would probably call for a family meeting to discuss the strange action.
I hated maths! Now I wonder why I thought it was so difficult that I refused to try

Thank you Sim 🙂
That hugging enh… it is still hard for me. My family members… is just out of it. The learning is for outside people. We just don’t hug except those in ‘the abroad’ and I often don’t know how to respond when they rush at me with hug. So, it’s still always weird sha.
Hehehe @maths.. maybe because of how people often dreaded it.
Thank you for the read and comment Sim. Cheers! 🙂
